Together with the Himalayan women...

Himalaya Women Lineage operates on the Roof of the World rallies around Himalaya's women, advises and assists them in the sustainable improvement of the Himalayan rural communities' living conditions. In soliciting women who spend transmissions within these communities, our association has the ultimate goal of supporting their development while preserving their sovereignty.

Priority areas of action
Education, launch in 2012 the project for adult women to learn reading and writting Bhoti language with a 3 years program ;

Medical, creation in 2011 of a pharmacy at a women monastery "Dechen Monastery" in Kungri village ;

Cultural, creation in 2012 of "Himalaya Women Lineage Cultural Group".

Many initiatives are organized by volunteers in several regions of France to publicize the achievements made by Himalaya Women Lineage India.

Last news ... The mission from 25 May to 21 June 2014 achieved its objectives: 500 adult women attended the 3 years Bhoti program and are now able to read Buddhist texts. The report detailling the actions available and a 2011-2014 activities overview.
